ÓbidosLocated 10 km west of Praia D’El Rey, the medieval walled village of Óbidos is a treasured Portuguese National Monument. Historically, the entire village was gifted a royal “wedding present” from King D. Dinis to his new Queen Isabel in 1282, after she passed through the village and marvelled at its beauty.
